Nowadays, In various fields of biology and engineering, the need for instrumental and smart engineering materials has increased in the world. Due to the requirement of using and classifying each of these materials, describing and reviewing them (one by one) is a time consuming and almost impossible task. Therefore, according to the similarities in their fields of applications, each group of known smart materials can be classified in their inherent response type. Also, identifying the strengths and weaknesses in each group of these materials is a reliable way to grow and improve the efficiency of smart materials in various sciences, which will lead to the production of better materials with greater efficiency and longer useful life. Finally, accurate knowledge of these properties makes it possible to build a combination of several smart materials (while maintaining the expected properties) in any engineering or medical structure.
